Countdown to My 40th Birthday

When I was a kid, I looked forward to finishing school so I can start earning some money and be free. Of course, that was not the end of story. As time goes by, I find life doesn't get any easier. If my sixth sense is accurate, things should turn around after I turn 40. It'd be nice if things can get better sooner. In the mean time, I travel and eat good food as much as I can! It's good to have something to look forward to...especially if it's a good life ahead of me.

What happend in the past 35.75 years of my life?

Looking back at the few decades of my life:
My 30s - Kinda suck, and I'm only half way. Work depresses me. It's even more depressing that lots of people tell me I should be happy I even have a job. :(
My 20s - Kinda suck and broke, but had a wonderful group of friends to hangout with in my early 20s and met my long-term boyfriend in my late 20s.
My teen years - Miserable...was a prisoner in my own home because my mom was (still is) too protective. It became a lot better when I was 15. That was when I left home to study overseas.
Age 10 & earlier - Lots of childhood traumas, therefore never consider I had a childhood.
