Countdown to My 40th Birthday

When I was a kid, I looked forward to finishing school so I can start earning some money and be free. Of course, that was not the end of story. As time goes by, I find life doesn't get any easier. If my sixth sense is accurate, things should turn around after I turn 40. It'd be nice if things can get better sooner. In the mean time, I travel and eat good food as much as I can! It's good to have something to look forward to...especially if it's a good life ahead of me.

Take the freaking sunglasses off!

The other day, a client came in to look at our furniture for the third time. She was about to place an order. It was 10:30am. She was wearing her "Bug Eyes" dark lenses sunglasses the whole time. It was so difficult to talk to her. Where was I supposes to look? Her nose? Or forehead? It was impossible to make 'eye' contact. How was I supposed to close a sale?!
