Moroccan Chicken Salad

New salad available at California Pizza Kitchen. It's super
delicious. A perfect combination of avocado, roasted almonds, grilled
butternut squash, beets, crispy green lettuce, dried dated and grilled
chicken! HK$128 for all that good stuff. YUMMY.

Sewing Project #3

Finally, my sewing project doesn't involve pants shortening!  This big canvas bag was bought at least 5 years ago!  Never used it because it turned out to be too heavy and difficult to use.  Wanted to dump it twice but didn't do it thinking it would cause bad karma.

Reducing the size of this bag is always in my mind since I got the sewing machine.  Not sure if it can be done because the bag is made with thick material.  The original leather shoulder straps are definitely too thick to be used on my machine.

It took me 4 hours to take the bag apart and get it ready in it's new shape.

Found two spare adjustable straps belonged to another bag.  They're perfect!  I feel so clever for coming up with the idea of making some 'ears' for this downsized bag.

Must have spent 6-7 hours on this project.  Extremely proud of my self for this wonderful outcome.

8:00 Get up.

9:00-10:40 Watch 'Tangled' with Mr. A. 

10:40-11:10 Have coffee with Mr. A.
11:45-13:15 Have lunch with friends.
14:30-15:45 Very hot yoga lesson.
16:00-... Do whatever! :D

Best sandwich in Macau

Heard about this very famous Pork Chop Bun in Macau since many years
ago. Never got around to eating it until now. It's SO good, both Mr.
A and I had one after another! The pork chop was super tender and
perfectly marinated. The sweet bun with the pork chop = magical
experience.
